Technical Services Specialist (f/m/d)
We are looking for you, effective immediately, as Technical Services Specialist (f/m/d) for our location in Johannesburg (Boksburg) – become part of our team!
As Technical Services Specialist (f/m/d), your responsibilities will, among others, include the examination and reporting of warranty claims, preparing of warranty reports and training of internal and external stakeholders also support Product Management by providing strong technical market feeback on products.
Your Scope:
- Manage technical hotline, ensuring timely resolution of customer technical issues.
- Develop and implement an annual training plan
- Manage the annual training budget and annual training needs
- On-site training for customers, fitment centres, and garages.
- Provide advanced support in troubleshooting complex technical issues, both internally and directly with customers.
- Monitor technical complaints and initiate appropriate corrective actions where required (e.g. informing internal stakeholders, developing targeted technical information, or implementing training initiatives).
- Ensure an efficient and effective warranty claim process within the relevant markets.
- Define and execute the technical support strategy for the relevant markets, including training delivery and technical content communication across various media platforms.
- Map current product offerings against the vehicle car parc to identify opportunities and advise management on product potential and growth areas.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams with technical expertise, customer-facing support, and technical input.
- Training schedule and coordination
- Create awareness of technical support services
What you should bring to the table:
- Qualified Red seal Mechanic Petrol/Diesel
- At least 3 years in similar position, with customer contacts and trainings
- Pedagogical skills
- Fluent in English
- Communication and social skills
- Adaptable to change skills
