Associate Transport Management - Inbound / Outbound (f/m/d)

We are looking for you, effective immediately, as Associate Transport Management - Inbound / Outbound (f/m/d) for our location in Duisburg– become part of our team!

 

As an Associate Transport Management - Inbound/Outbound (f/m/d), your responsibilities will, among others, include handling complaints and preparing customs and shipping documents.

 

 

 

 

Your Scope:

 

  • Shipping and customs clearance: Preparation and processing of all shipping and customs documents in compliance with and monitoring of relevant customs deadlines.

  • Transport management & monitoring: Organisation of standard and special transports as well as proactive monitoring of delivery dates (inbound and outbound).

  • Inventory and discrepancy clarification: Creation of deliveries and independent clarification of overdeliveries, underdeliveries or missing deliveries in close coordination with the purchasing department.

  • Freight controlling & tender support: Checking freight invoices, obtaining transport certificates and providing support with freight tenders.

  • Portal maintenance & master data: Master data maintenance (parts/packaging) and shipment notification in specific customer and original equipment (OE) portals.

  • Complaints management & reporting: Professional handling of transport damage, preparation of regular evaluations and systematic filing of freight documents.

 

 

 

 

What you should bring to the table:

 

  • Qualifications: Completed commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or in wholesale and foreign trade.

  • Professional experience: At least 3 years of solid experience in order processing, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • IT skills: Confident use of MS Office applications and practical experience with SAP.

  • Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English for smooth communication in an international environment.

  • Working style: Methodical and analytical thinking combined with a structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work.

  • Soft skills: Strong communication skills with a pronounced service orientation, quick comprehension and team spirit.
